Sydney International Speedway has endured a tough start since initially being opened as "Eastern Creek Speedway" in early 2022.

The track last held an event in April 2023 before the promoters walked away in September of the same year due to facility and lease issues - just days prior to the 23/24 season beginning.

Under lessee Sydney Dragway, Sydney International Speedway Pty Ltd was announced as the new operators of the venue.

With many questions from the public and competitors still to be answered, new track manager Garry Willmington spoke with Toby to explain what is happening at the facility, his plans, what both fans and competitors can expect, and more.
