The all-new Volkswagen Tiguan is a a 5-passenger or 7-passenger compact utility vehicle that can be equipped with some advanced, even luxurious features. The VW Tiguan compact SUV is available with a 184hp 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder and front wheel drive on the base model or all wheel drive on all the others. Because the all-new Tiguan is much longer than the last model it has plenty of rear seat legroom, cargo capacity and the option for the third-row of seats. The Volkswagen Tiguan is built off the same platform as the award winning VW Golf so it has above average handling. The price of the new Tiguan starts at around $28,000 and runs close to $40,000 in Canada.
