Sway Warning System: This Quick Reference Guide will provide a clear definition and step by step details on how to enable and disable the Lane Departure Alert: Sway Warning System.

Lane Departure Alert, Sway Warning System is designed to read visible lane markers under certain conditions, and provide visual and audible alerts when lane departure is detected. When swaying is detected a warning alert that states “Take A Rest” will pop up to remind the driver to take a break, if needed. By keeping the driver more alert, the driver can hopefully better focus on other drivers and any road obstacles that may arise.

It is not a collision-avoidance system or a substitute for safe and attentive driving. Effectiveness is dependent on many factors including road, weather and vehicle conditions. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.

Although demonstrated on the 2018 Toyota Camry, this feature is available on various other 2018 Toyota models.
