I’m deep in the process of planning my wedding, and these are a few trends I’m spotting among couples that I shared in my recent morning show appearance. Which is your favorite? Tell me in comments ⬇️⬇️⬇️

1️⃣ Straight teeth and a beautiful 😃 with @SparkAligners is trending in couples who are 1-year+ out from their wedding. 2️⃣ They call them "micro-weddings" and "mini-monies" because less is MORE! This trend started as a way to prevent the spread of Covid-19 but then it just sank in for many couples that this was a wise strategy for keeping wedding costs down, securing harder to book remote locations and enjoying their wedding more because they can focus more on the guest experience versus volume—so it stuck!

3️⃣ Outdoor Weddings began trending for safety reasons just like micro-weddings, and it’s here to stay because outdoor locations provide more of a fairytale backdrop than indoor venues. Couples are opting for ocean-side beach weddings and locations like farms with rustic barns, desert canyons, mountain-tops, and even a cliffside in Ibiza where my good friend just got married!

4️⃣ Edgier, rock’n roll style wedding gowns and suit style is breaking the traditional mold of what we’re used to seeing! Couples want more dramatic looks to complement their personal style. Black dresses are IN! So are gowns with edgy embellishments and sheer fabrics like the ones made by Galia Lahav that show more skin. 👀

5️⃣ Positive body image has inspired brides to be less concerned with dieting and weight loss pre-nuptials, which is super inspiring. Women are loving their bodies and are empowered in their bridal-wear selections, using little helpers like Honeylove shapewear to flatter their physiques!
