Hello everyone!
This past summer I decided to leave the city and move in the middle of nature. I was able to slow-down, reflect and connect with nature.

One of the topics that got me thinking the most was gratitude 🙏 . So I decided to shoot a little short film talking about it. I also used the opportunity to test my Canon EOS R6 for an entire project and treat it like a cinema camera.

The results turned out to be really good. This is a fantastic camera for video.

Ingredients (for 4 people):

2 onion, thinly sliced
4 potatoes
2 cups olive oil (500 mL)
7 eggs
1 pinch salt

Preparation:

1 - Boil potatoes until soft. Put them aside when cooked.
2 - Heat up the olive oil in a really hot pan.
3 - Thinly slice the onion.
4 - Break apart potatoes into the pan. Add the onions as well in the olive oil over high heat for 10-15 minutes until they caramelize.
5 - Add 7 eggs to a bowl and whisk. Add the fried vegetables, stir, and leave to set for 5-10 minutes.
6 - In a nonstick pan, fry the egg mixture over high heat for 1 minute, then reduce to a low heat for 2-4 minutes.
7 - Cover the pan with a large plate and carefully turn the omelet out onto the plate.
8 - Slide the omelet back into the pan and fry for a further 3-5 minutes over low heat. To check the omelet is cooked, gently press on the centre of the omelet. If the surface springs back, it is ready.
9 - Repeat step 7 to remove omelet from the pan.
