Nari's magical perfume that enabled Nari to fly has washed away. Rainbow Ruby transforms into an astronaut and travels to the Planet Plum. She meets an extraterritorial friend but eventually overcomes all the obstacles and succeed to help Nari.

Woolie Patch can't nap since his favorite storybook was eaten by Nibbles. Ruby becomes a writer to create a new story for the Patch. When Ruby's storybook characters escape from her story, she rewrites it to catch them and finally Patch falls asleep.
