Horacio Pagani is an Argentine-Italian businessman and engineer in the automotive industry. He is the founder of Pagani Automobili S.p.A., an Italian specialty auto-maker. Prior to founding his own company, Pagani worked for Renault and Lamborghini.

You may know Pagani today as a manufacturer of luxury cars, but the history behind the company’s establishment is much more inspiring than you might have guessed. Pagani did not start as just any company that wanted to produce nice cars. Pagani started as a revolution. And the man behind that revolution is Horacio Pagani.

Before he founded his supercar company, he was repeatedly rejected by Lamborghini and Ferrari. These companies did not have any faith in Pagani’s ideas. Rather than get discouraged, Pagani took out a loan and built his dream car against all the odds. Today, Pagani is the producer of some of the world’s fastest, rarest, most luxurious cars.
