Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Wax will absolutely add a protective layer on your vehicles paint along with fairly good water beading properties. This particular wash and wax requires a little more effort than some of the other ceramic washes on the market. This is a nice product but not my favorite Meguiar's automotive detailing product.
