Not just another EV prototype at CES 2020, the Lightyear One comes with a twist: Over five meters of solar cells across its roof and hood help extend the range of its battery pack to nearly 450 miles per day, adding about 10,000 miles of cost-free solar travel per year, according to Lightyear's estimates. Sound too good to be true? We'll find out when it goes into production next year.
