Making a wooden tray Spline joint

This video is a woodworking from pine and mahogany wood. I did not use nails or screws in making this wooden tray. First, I applied dowel miter joints on the corners of the tray. I don't like this. There were burrs in the corners of the wooden dowel. But the corners are very solid. Then I carved the corners a little with a 12mm router bit. I placed a wooden piece of mahogany and applied spline joint. I used wax oil to finish the tray. It was a solid wooden tray. I hope you will like it.
