Please watch the video til the end. I didn't show it but the original belt would not go on, even with the alt all the way down on the slot. it was still barely too short. So, inevitably, I needed a new belt of correct legnth. This is how I chose to do this. Please feel free to use any other method you have for getting belt legnth. The belt in the video is the stock belt, 9 years old and was trash anyway. Any questions, lmk.
