Join us for an awesome series where we dive into SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA, and show you some easy to use modeling techniques along with some powerful tips and tricks. Initially we'll start with simple parts and an assemblies in this webinar. upcoming webinars will include more complex parts and assembly motion (SW-Mate Controller / CATIA-Sequence), and then continue on with drawings of parts and assemblies with some 3DExperience Apps sprinkled in along the way. We also may include bonus webinars on Simulation and Wire Harnesses, and Live Rendering.

The first of this series will concentrate on simple parts getting you used to the interfaces of SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA. We'll dive into some prismatic parts and model them up one at a time so you can see the workflows and modeling practices as we compare the two products. Once we get all of our parts modeled up we'll spend some time at the assembly/product level and add mates/constraints to make sure the robot gripper functions properly. We'll finish it up by saving our models to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform so they are ready to share across the company.
