Chrome is well renowned for being a CPU and RAM hog, and now that Apple has released their own silicon with the M1 MacBooks, it will be interesting to see how it performs.

I've just downloaded and installed the latest version of Chrome which fully supports the ARM architecture of the M1 Macs. I've tested it in some multi tasking, including browsing with 20+ tabs, playing high resolution videos, and general multi tasking. I also look into the effect on the CPU and RAM utilisation.
