My guest is Andrew Yakub! Andrew is the founder of Rayton and has served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since October 2013. Rayton uses patented, particle accelerator-based technology, to produce engineered wafers that can serve as the basis for next-generation electronics impacting industries such as automotive, aerospace, 5G, LED, and solar. At Rayton he has managed over $11M in equity crowdfunding including a $5.5M Reg A+ round in 2017.

Prior to Rayton, in September 2009, Mr. Yakub founded and led ReGen America, Inc., a financer of commercial and residential solar photovoltaic systems, where he was responsible for the development of over 6 megawatts of solar installations and the awarding of over $3M in government grants. Named to Forbes’ “30 under 30” list in 2016, Mr. Yakub is a two-time clean technology entrepreneur. Mr. Yakub’s experience spans from UCLA’s Particle Beam Physics Lab to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. He holds a Bachelor’s in Physics from UC Santa Barbara.
