Never ever pull the fire alarm unless there is a real fire, or you have permission to pull the fire alarm for a fire drill, you have permission to pull the fire alarm for a test, or it is your own fire alarm system at home. If you pull the fire alarm without a fire, you are putting someone else’s life at risk because you are causing the fire department to respond to a non-emergency and the person who really needs the fire department will die. That is not good! Never tamper with fire alarm equipment or else you are putting someone’s life at risk. You will get in big trouble if you pull the fire alarm or tamper with fire alarm equipment! Never screw or unscrew the fire alarm, never take the fire alarm off the wall, never paint the fire alarm, never disable the horn or strobe on a fire alarm. Fire alarms are very serious devices that save peoples lives so never mess with them!
