We take our Tesla Model 3 Performance to the 2023 EV Track Day at Castle Combe organised by the Tesla Owners UK Club.

After a few warm up laps, Arthur puts the car through its paces. It handles much better than expected, with the latest version of Track Mode allowing it to carry a lot of speed through the corners with very little overheating.

The change from Michelin Pilot Sport 4S to Cup 2 tyres also helps in the dry conditions, and so do the race brake pads from Tevo Solutions! We managed a best lap time of 01:20.

While the Model 3 is definitely not perfect, this event shows that there is huge potential for EVs beyond town streets.
