Tony parker whose real name is a French-American former professional basketball player and majority owner of ASVEL Basket in the LNB Pro A. Parker was chosen by the Spurs as the 28th pick in the 2001 NBA draft and swiftly assumed the role of their starting point guard. Throughout his career, he clinched four NBA championships, all achieved with the Spurs. During the 2011 NBA lockout, he briefly played for ASVEL Basket in France, and his last season was with the Charlotte Hornets. Upon retirement, he ranked ninth in scoring and fifth in assists in NBA playoff history. Parker earned six NBA All-Star selections, landed on three All-NBA Second Teams and one All-NBA Third Team, and was named MVP of the 2007 NBA Finals. Additionally, he was honored with a spot on the All-Rookie First Team and saw his No. 9 jersey retired by the Spurs. Recognized as one of the greatest European players ever, Parker played a pivotal role in the Spurs' success from the 2000s to the early 2010s. In August 2023, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Parker also shone with the French national team, winning the MVP of EuroBasket 2013 and emerging as the tournament's top scorer, averaging 19 points per game. He became the all-time leading scorer in the EuroBasket competition in 2015, a record later surpassed by Pau Gasol.
