The Sherpas are scattered along both sides of the Himalayas, primarily residing in Nepal, with a small number living in China, India, and Bhutan. In the China Tibet, there are only around 2,000 Sherpas, residing in the Zhangmu and Chentang Gully beneath the Himalayas on the southwestern border of China Tibet.
