The original Ekko RV is based on a Ford Transit platform, featuring all-wheel drive capability and a larger size compared to other off-road-focused Winnebagos. However, in 2024, the Ekko lineup expands to include a second, more upscale model featuring a three-pointed star badge. Utilizing the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with increased ground clearance, standard all-terrain tires, and now equipped with a full-time all-wheel drive system with a 50/50 torque split, this model offers enhanced off-road capabilities. The Ekko Sprinter maintains a similar layout to its Transit counterpart, but the 18-inch extended length results in significant interior improvements. Winnebago describes the front lounge as a multi-use living space, providing increased comfort and versatility, as well as enough sleeping space for up to 5 people.
