Over 40 music educators gathered in Las Vegas, NV the week of June 25-29, 2012, to take one of three mariachi education courses to develop their playing skills and pedagogical strategies. Educators are also provided with the opportunity to work with Maestro Jose Hernandez. The week concludes with a concert in which all attendees perform the music worked on with their instructors.
