Both the 2022 Kia EV6 and the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 start at around $40k.
Both ride on the same modular platform and can be equipped with the same 77.4-kWh battery pack and both offer Level 3 DC fast-charging.
The Kia EV6’s sleeker design over the Ioniq 5 gives it a bit of an advantage in range at 310 miles for the Kia versus 303 for the more retro Ioniq 5.
