Simon Conference 2023, Actuarial Science and Sports Analytics at Michigan State University

The MSU actuarial program is pleased to share a video recap of the 2023 Ronald H. and Mary Simon Conference in Insurance and Risk Management. This was a landmark year as 2023 saw the first presentations by high school data science groups. These groups, affiliated with the Sports Analytics Club Project (www.sacpinc.org) impressed the attendees with their poise and preparation, and delivery. We are eternally grateful to Ron and Mary for their deep support of actuarial program and its continued growth.

This video will provide you with information about the Actuarial Science program, or AS, at Michigan State University. Our AS undergraduate major was established in 2012, and it is becoming known for delivering quality education and academic research, as well as receiving increased attention from potential employers, academics and students.
