You may think you know where your tomato products come from based on the packaging, but we found tomato products from major brands linked to China’s Xinjiang region, where Uyghur Muslims face mass detention, surveillance and torture. They might be on store shelves here.

CLARIFICATION: An earlier version of this video said La Doria will continue to use tomato paste from Xinjiang, China, through November 2021. After the episode aired, the company clarified it has not ordered tomatoes from this year's harvest and said it made that decision prior to CBC's inquiries. Any tomato paste from Xinjiang was harvested in 2020. The information is referenced from minute 12:56 to 13:06.
