DON'T DO THIS AT HOME!
I wouldn't suggest running the vehicle like this for obvious reasons, the clearance at the control arm, the loss in travel in the control arm, the possibility of sheering off the shock while driving etc.
this was purely to get an idea of the drop and subsequent look of the car.

This car has the same frame as any other 49-54 Chevy 210 150 or Bel-Air.

I'll be researching alternative springs, coilovers and air bags that can replace the factory parts. Now that the lower mount can be taken off using bolts, the replacement of suspension components will be much easier.
