Your RV air conditioner is a big ticket item in your rig and, come summertime, an essential one. Have your A/C unit serviced at least once per year, especially before you head out for your camping season. This will help curb any unexpected problems and prolong the life of the unit. Make sure you understand your unit’s watt usage in relation to your rig. During periods of high use, check and clean filters regularly to ensure proper airflow.
Preventative and ongoing maintenance is the key to making sure your RV runs smoothly and that you don’t encounter any mishaps on the road. Brenda Puckett of Queen Bee RV joins us from the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) to share her tips for keeping your RV’s air conditioner in top shape.
