Dip Netting is an old Alaskan tradition. This popular method of fishing is open only to Alaska residents. My family has been fishing in the Copper River basin for over 55 years. We depend on the wild salmon (Reds, Kings, Silvers, and more) that spawn here, to fill our freezer for each winter. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. It is almost entirely unchanged from when I was a boy. That is a rare thing in today's world.
