Gaudí believed, "The straight line belongs to men, the curved one to God."
He was inspired by nature and he combined nature elements in his work, such as spiral stairways, conoid-shaped roofs, tree-inspired column, honeycomb gates and vine-inspired frieze etc., to create organic and free-flowing architecture. He is known as the God's Architect who bought buildings to life.
