Welcome to our latest YouTube video, "Simple Tips for Golf Chipping - Best 3 Short Game Improvement Drills". In this video, we're going to focus on three key areas for improving your chipping game: connection, commitment, and club selection. These are essential aspects of any golfer's short game, and by following these simple tips, you'll be able to elevate your chipping to the next level.
First up, we'll focus on connection. To make solid contact with the ball, it's important to maintain a connection between your arms and your body. We'll show you a drill that will help you keep your arms and body working together in harmony, resulting in more consistent and accurate chips.
Next, we'll discuss the importance of commitment in your chipping game. When you're standing over a chip shot, it's crucial to fully commit to the shot and trust your swing. Our second drill builds confidence and ensures that you're making a committed swing every time.
Finally, we'll cover club selection strategies, which can make a huge difference in your chipping success. Our third drill to help you get a better feel for your wedges and when to use them.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced golfer, these three simple tips for chipping can help you sharpen up your short game skills and build confidence around the greens.

Golf Coaches, Not Teachers

The Aussie Golf Pros are holistic coaches in every sense of the word. Steve and Glen are both fully qualified members of the PGA of Australia and are avid students of the Sports Sciences. Together, they are certified in Advanced Golf Coaching, Golf Psychology, TPI (Body-Swing Connection), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Personal Development and Skill Acquisition.

Steve and Glen are not ‘Method’ coaches. They recognise that there are literally 1000’s of ways to swing a golf club! Rather than try to ‘change’ your swing, their goal is to help You Be The Best Golfer You Can Be!

Skill Development vs Technical Changes

Although technique is an important factor in improving a golfer’s performance, Skill Development is largely neglected in golf coaching today. Skill is something that can be tangibly improved with proper understanding of the golf impact laws and effective practice towards improved performance.

External Focus of Attention

Most golf teaching involves an internal focus. Common suggestions might include increased hip turn, a still head or improved hand path. These are all factors of the golf swing, which many golfers and teachers consider important. However, as they are focused internally, on movements of the body, golfers find changes extremely difficult to process.
