My favorite way to prep jackfruit! You can use it as a topping/filling for whatever you'd like. I love me some jackfruit tacos with yellow corn tortillas. After you've simmered the jackfruit, don't throw away the broth! I use it to make salsa or rice.
Ingredients:
-2 cans of Young jackfruit in brine

-4 or 5 cups of water
-2 tablespoons of vegetable bouillon
-1 tsp of salt
-oil for frying
-cumin, black pepper, etc (optional)
