“The Prayer” was an answer to my prayer.

Growing up my brother and I had a difficult time connecting with each other’s musical styles — I liked Hannah Montana, he liked singing Opera at the top of his lungs every morning at 5am. Like most siblings, we struggled to get along. We struggled even more finding songs that we both connected with. We shared the same passion and love for music, we just couldn’t figure out how to communicate with it.

The first time I heard this song, I knew that my brother and I would sing it at my wedding. We had finally found a song that catered to both of our musical languages and I truly felt that this song was written specifically for us. Uniting the world of Opera with the world of Pop was the best thing for our relationship. My promise was kept and I am extremely thankful I got to share this special moment with my amazingly talented brother. ❤️
