Paul Niehaus is an economist and entrepreneur who’s researching the impact of large-scale anti-poverty programs. He’s currently an Associate Professor of Economics at UC San Diego. Formerly, he co-founded Give Directly and served as its chairman which is one of the biggest international NGOs. It has delivered over $500 million in conditional digital cash transfers across 9 different countries.
