This time, we took the Volkswagen ID 4 and tested the D-mode (Drive) and the B-Mode (Brake-Regenerative) on the interstate. 70 mph loop test in Eco to see which is better for the VW ID 4. In the Volkswagen, "D" or Drive acts similar to and ICE car, release the accelerator and you coast down the road. The "B" or Regenerative Braking applies regen braking immediately after releasing the accelerator, slowing you to almost a complete stop while putting energy bake into the battery.
