My Son is Guilty (1939) is a crime movie about a veteran cop in Hell's Kitchen who welcomes his son Ritzy home from two years in prison hopeful that he will stay on the right track. Morelli, the head of the local gang, knows that Ritzy has good talent for crime and makes him an offer very hard to refuse. Glenn Ford, in only his second movie, costars and he appears in his first movie with Edgar Buchanan. They made twelve together and one TV series, "Cade's County."
