The Explorer ST is a great platform, but let's talk about its black tie wearing cousin, the Lincoln Aviator. It gains all of the same power, but has some annoying quirks that only the Lincoln version has. Namely, the useless factory "manual" mode. In stock form, it exits this mode almost immediately after entering it, and worse yet, still downshifts when you go wide open throttle.
