Summer is here! Today I'm sharing four tropical drinks that are perfect for the hot weather! These are some of my favorites for sipping on when it's beastly hot outside - or if you're not somewhere warm, these cocktails will transport you to a faraway island 🏝 Though easy to drink, a few of these recipes call for a number of ingredients (especially the Bali Bali). This is common in the world of tiki, and makes for multilayered drinks that are both interesting and delicious. Hope you enjoy these recipes, and hope you enjoy the sun! 1 oz. (30 ml) Appleton Estate 12yr Rare Blend Jamaican Rum
1 oz. (30 ml) Rhum Clément Canne Bleue
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
1 oz. (30 ml) fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) orgeat syrup
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Kōloa Kaua’i Dark Rum (float)
Mint sprig, lime husk, and cocktail cherry for garnish
OPTIONAL: 1/2 oz. (15 ml) 151 Rum (for fire)

THE TRADEWINDS 2:53
1 oz. (30 ml) Kōloa Kaua’i Dark Rum
1 oz. (30 ml) Don Q Gold Rum
1 oz. (30 ml) Giffard Abricot du Roussillon
1 oz. (30 ml) cream of coconut
1 oz. (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
Grated nutmeg & pineapple fronds for garnish

3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Black Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Real McCoy 3yr Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Maison Rouge VSOP Cognac
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Beefeater London Dry Gin
1/2 oz. (15 ml) John D. Taylor Velvet Falernum
1/2 oz. (15 ml) passion fruit syrup
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) pineapple juice
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) orange juice
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
Pineapple fronds & cocktail umbrella for garnish

THE PLUM ISLAND PUNCH 5:50
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Lillet Rouge
1 oz. (30 ml) Don Q Gold Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) semi-rich simple syrup (1.5:1 sugar:water)
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
Bar spoon La Clandestine Absinthe Superieure
6 drops Almond Extract
Grated nutmeg, pineapple fronds, and cocktail umbrella for garnish
