Note that the loud noise at the beginning is the sound of the disc tray, not the fan noise. (Thank you, people who commented!)

Also, note that I had my phone extremely close to the ps5 in my room closed off from other sounds, so it may have amplified the noise of the ps5. In reality, you will not have your head positioned right next to the ps5 slim. The majority of you will have it in your living room with the volume and other background noise to dampen the ps5 sound, and you will be distanced from the ps5. Sitting at my computer chair, the noise is hard to pick up (except for the disc tray noise at the beginning).

There are many variables to put into account that I haven't in the video. This is just to give you an idea of how loud it gets. The best way to truly know is to test this out yourself.

I will test if having the ps5 slim positioned vertically and on a different surface will help reduce the sound at the start-up. If it does, I will post another video!
