Today we tear down the engine from a 1992 Mazda Miata. This engine is from one of our parts cars and while it did run, it burned oil and smoked badly. This engine is from a car with 192k miles that was parked for a long time. I needed a few specific parts from this engine for another project of mine, although many of this engines parts are still in great shape.

Why am I doing this? My name is Eric and I own and run a full service auto salvage business called Importapart. Part of our model includes dismantling blown and bad engines to salvage the good parts to resell. We do not rebuild engines, merely supply parts to those who do.
