A step by step tutorial on how to brush hog using a Ford 8N tractor. Ours is a 1948 Ford 8N with the Woods Dixie Cutter M5. The process would be similar for a 9N, or 2N model. Step 1 - get an overrun PTO coupler. Tractor video. #outdoorgans #ford8n #fordtractor #farmtractor #purplecollarlife

How to brush hog:
Step 1: Start the tractor (watch our other video for more details)
Step 2: Push in clutch
Step 3: engage PTO and release clutch (transmission in neutral)
Step 4: Lift brush hog and move to where you need to work
Step 5: lower draft position to where Brush hog just glides along the ground
Step 6: Increase throttle
Step 7: Push in clutch and put tractor in gear (1st or Reverse)
Step 8: Release clutch to begin driving with PTO engaged.
