Should be pretty simple, right? Except we're going to make it harder! I am not allowed to buy eggs, flour, butter or sugar as basic ingredients...
Can I do it? Spoilers: no, not really.

A few people have questioned whether it is right and proper to take apples from a memorial tree - here are my thoughts on that topic:
When I am gone from this world, if someone ever plants an apple tree in my memory, I absolutely and wholeheartedly hope other people will take pleasure in it.
I hope they will enjoy the colours of its blossom in spring, and the sound of bees buzzing amongst the flowers. I hope they will sit and be cooled by the shade of its leaves in summer.
I hope children will swing from its mature branches and pluck its underripe apples then wrinkle their noses in surprise at the tartness.
I hope people will gather the sweet ripe apples and make pies and weird cakes.
And when that tree comes to its own end, as all things do, I hope people will carve its timber into strange crooked spoons, or drink and laugh together, warmed by a crackling fire of its wood.
