Barney M talks about Ego is an AA Speaker tape converted to digital format for me by another AA member. In this funny talk, Barney says that his principle problem in sobriety is ego and that his principle solution one day at a time is surrender. Barney talks about his fear, inadequacy, and feelings of impending doom. He explains how his ego thought these problems were caused by the people around him and how he realised that these feelings were really generated from within. He goes on to say that we are responsible for our actions and reactions.

Barney also states that the number one thing he seems to be telling newcomers is: Stop Reacting.
