I’ve owned a 1997 Land Rover Discovery 300 Tdi (Series 1) for 7 years and drove it 100.00 kilometers - as a daily driver. Now, after it reached nearly half a million kilometers in total, being on the road for a quarter of a century, it’s being put to rest.
I use this opportunity to do a full review and buyer’s guide on the discovery, talking about things I like and don’t like, things that broke and lasted. The goal is do give some good advice to Discovery owners or those wanting to become one.
I also do a quick review of the BF Goodrich All Terrain KO tires I had on it for the entire time.
