The 1968 Camaro Z28 Convertible was a 1 off production car built for GM Executive Pete Estes. This car was pulled from the regular Camaro assembly line and converted to a Z28 to try and impress Pete Estes who controlled the purse strings for Chevy's racing program. The car was supposed to impress Pete to give the race guys the funds for their Trans-Am program. Apparently, it worked because the car survived and had been restored. Since the timing of this footage, the car has gone back underground. This might be the only actual footage of the car.
