The original BMW 1 Series and in particular the M140i (f21 / f22) was unique among hatchbacks. Even the most boring versions stuck to BMW’s rear-wheel-drive recipe, making it one of the most entertaining runabouts out there.
For this new car, the BMW M135i xDrive, it seems BMW has made a few changes… mainly being that this is now all-wheel-drive and not rear-wheel-drive!
What do you think? With more power, more space and being more efficient is this a good evolution?Or would you look at the Mercedes-AMG A35 AMG, Volkswagen Golf R or the all new Audi S3?
