Where's your donation money well-spent, meaning that every dime actually goes towards helping people who need it the most? CHAT, the Chico (California) Housing Action Team is an incredible organization that offers various kinds of housing and service assistance to low income citizens who have been or are at risk of finding themselves houseless and on the street. Housing now close to 200 people, CHAT operates primarily thanks to the love and dedication of private donors and volunteers.
