In Canada you cannot drive without insurance, so everyone having home or car need to have some insurance
Today I will talk about auto insurance; you won’t believe that bike insurance is more or same as of car so it’s better if you buy car instead. Also, insurance depends on these factors
-Age
-Gender
-Class of license
-Province
-Marital status
-Yearly Commute
-MTO approved course
-Experience

Age – If you are someone with the age of 25 or above your insurance will be less as compared to people having age less than 25, as more the age more maturity and responsibility, I know that’s not true in every case but that’s how it works in insurance.

Province - Insurance depends on your province as well so you can check according to your province, also not only province it depends on cities as well as I live in Cambridge here average rate is 400-600 Cad for new drivers but if I talk about Brampton its way more, it depends of accident rates in that specific city. City having more accidents will be having more insurance that is the reason some people make fake scenarios about their address to get lower rates of insurance.

Marital Status – If someone is married their insurance will be more as you have to pick and drop family members often or your overall commute will be more hence more chances of accident making insurance more.
Yearly Commute – The more the commute the more will be the insurance as more commute has more chances of collision.

MTO Courses – If someone has taken classes from MTO approved institute then insurance for that specific person will be slightly lower course usually takes 3-5 days which should have following
Digital or in-person classroom instruction
In a government-approved driver education course, you will:
Receive at least 20 hours of classroom instruction digitally or in-person
Be in a class with up to 40 students for in-person classes or up to 15 students for virtual classes
Get a copy of the course textbook and the official MTO Driver’s Handbook — the only official handbook for drivers
In-vehicle instruction
You will receive a minimum of 10 hours of in-vehicle training delivered by a licensed instructor.

Please note: You cannot complete more than 2 hours of in-vehicle training per day. After 5 hours of classroom instruction, you must not receive more than 1 hour of in-vehicle training in the same day.
Complete your in-vehicle training within 1 year from the start of your classroom instruction
Drive a vehicle that has no more than two students per instructor
Flexible training
A government-approved beginner driver education course must offer 10 hours of flexible instruction time in addition to the 20 hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of in-vehicle lessons. This can be used for:
additional vehicle and/or classroom instruction
driving simulation instruction
Computer-based instruction or Home Link (programming the vehicle to control garage doors or gates)
So before choosing any driving institute, make sure they are fulfilling all these requirements, in order to choose your MTO approved driving center, make sure they are in the list of approved and not from revoked list. You can check from herehttps://www.ontario.ca/page/governmen...
Experience - As of any other field in life, experience matters in here as well, so the more experience you have, the less insurance you will get. Also if you are someone who is coming from anywhere else, like Pakistan or India or any other country, make sure to bring your driving experience in here as well and if it’s in not English, make sure to translate it in English you can contact someone in here as well for translation from any language to English you can have someone from here fot translation https://kwmulticultural.ca/interpreters

Now by considering all these factors, you can have minimum insurance by taking classes from MTO approved institute, by brining experience from countries we are coming from, and by staying single (Sorry, that was a joke).
Also most of the companies give discounts to some groups like if you are engineer, or doing job at specific place or graduated from specific college, you will get that lower rates. For example Conestoga students has discounts at these two places
