Use Orthomax Home defence. It's only about $20 CAD. It will save you a lot of hassle and it's safe. Spray it along the baseboards in a six inch wide area and leave it to dry for a couple hours. It will last 1 year I believe but you can't clean that area and it's safe for pets. I clean it once in awhile and re-apply but they are gone now anyways. When they come in contact with the sticky Orthomax, they start dying right away and die off in 20 or so minutes. It says not to spray on countertops but I did along the back where I never touch so I could kill them and it works. I used only a small amount and smoothed the spray residue with a rag.
