Meet Kofi Bazzell-Smith, Manga artist, MFA Candidate, and professional boxer. Kofi taught himself Japanese and studied the Japanese artform of manga in Japan. Now, he shares his expertise through lectures and workshops on manga, art practice, and cultural exchange across universities in the US and Japan. He aims to pioneer the teaching of Japanese Manga in America and eventually he'd like to open a Manga school in the US. This is his story.
