Layering drums is a great technique for adding interest and giving you lots to work with in the arrangement stage of a track. It's such a complex topic and is really an art form in itself.

In this tutorial, I touch on a few core aspects such as your choice of breaks as well as using hit alignment, tuning and EQ to get the layers sounding tight together.

One more part in this series coming soon on instruments & music, then on to the next.🥷✌️

Big love to all my Patreon supporters. I love making these videos and I'm desperate to do this full time so I really appreciate the support!✌️& ❤️
