The Bakersfield chapter of PFLAG hosted a conversation between a mother and her son; featuring BELINDA CARLISLE and her son, JAMES DUKE MASON on January 9, 2014.

Belinda is known not only as the lead singer of the Go-Go's, but also as one of the late 80s most glamorous adult-pop soloists. She continues to tour internationally with both the Go-Go's and as a solo artist. Her son, James Duke Mason, is an openly gay actor who is making a name for himself through his acting and LGBT activism.
