Both Harvard and Stanford have denied claims by a Korean high-school student that she was offered dual admissions into the prestigious schools.

Kim Jung-Yoon, a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia, has been getting media attention in the Korean community for claims that she was admitted into a joint Harvard-Stanford program.

The Harvard Public Affairs and Communications office has denied Kim's admission into the school as well as the existence of such ajoint program. It added that her alleged admissions letter is a forgery.

Stanford University, has also confirmed that Kim was not offered its admission.

Kim's family claims that there could be a misunderstanding, saying they would consult a lawyer on the matter.
